Strings Music Festival, the leading concert experience in Steamboat Springs, has provided the finest music performances to Northwest Colorado for 25 years. Strings Music Festival presents over 80 concerts and events throughout the year, with the main festival season in June, July and August. Music ranges from classical to country, jazz to rock. Popular Grammy award winners, principal players from renowned orchestras, the Family Friendly Series and free concerts in the park offer something for everyone. Strings Music Festival is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization and operates with the support of sponsors and individual donors.

Concerts are held at the award-winning Strings Music Pavilion, located at the corner of Mt. Werner and Pine Grove road in Steamboat Springs. The unique facility features sliding glass panels, to capture the feeling of a warm summer night concert in a park. The Steamboat Ski Resort peeking in the windows and the sun setting over the Yampa Valley add the finishing touches to the music in the mountains experience.

Meet our Blogger: Valerie

Growing up playing piano and clarinet, then graduating Ithaca College with a major in writing, I can’t think of a more natural pairing of my interests than blogging for Strings Music Festival. Any topic can be related to music, so I’m constantly on the hunt for how music shapes the way we live. Have an idea you want to share? Email me at valerie@stringsmusicfestival.com.
